We have an immediate need for a well-organized individual to join our team as an
Assistant Project Manager.
This is an exciting opportunity for a driven individual looking to work across different functions within a listed REIT while getting exposure to strategic tasks.
Reports to: Director, Project Management
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Location: Jersey City
Position Responsibilities:
- On-site coordination and quality control of general contractors and subcontractors
- Developing daily reports to track project progress
- Creation of project schedules
- Procure and analyze proposals and bids
- Execution of construction contracts
- Review of contractor invoices and change orders for accuracy and completeness
- Management of project budget
- Coordination with 3rd party consultants (submittals, RFI’s, etc.)
- Prepare project close-out packages and final records
Position Requirements:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.)
- “Nice to Have”: Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or similar
- “Nice to Have”: Knowledge in Microsoft Project, BlueBeam, AutoCAD
- “Nice to Have”: OSHA Safety certification
- Good communication skills
- Good organizational skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong problem-solving skills
