Learn more at wpengine.com.WP Engine is looking for a Sales Training Coordinator to be a part of our Sales Training Team. This individual will serve as the lead trainer for our onboarding programs. They will work closely with all our new hires globally to ensure they are equipped with the skills and knowledge to ramp quickly in their respective roles.The Sales Training Coordinator will have opportunities to develop their careers through a highly impactful training delivery role that includes working with all levels of the sales organization. In this role, you will lead the onboarding curriculum for newly hired sales members. You will engage with key business partners to understand, support, and advise on specific training needs to improve new hire performance.

You will assess program needs by interacting with supporting business units to develop specifications for learning objectives and course content. You will be an integral part of our team of impassioned, creative, and fun-loving training professionals, making a difference in the lives of our employees.The Sales Training Coordinator reports directly to the Sales Training Manager. You will collaborate with Talent & Dev, Sales Enablement, Sales Coaching, Product Marketing, Sales Engineers and global training partners to support our unified learning culture and strategy.

Primary Responsibilities



  • Lead the development, scheduling, communication, delivery, and assessment of onboarding programs for all roles and regions.

  • Conduct ongoing tenured seller trainings, sales manager trainings, and coaching sessions as determined by business needs and leadership requests.  

  • Create engaging training materials, presentations, activities, and knowledge base content to ensure programs remain current with product and process updates.

  • Assess program impact using metrics such as Gong call recordings, Salesforce (SFDC) data hygiene, new hire performance, and attainment to inform future improvements.

  • Partner with sales management, product marketing, sales engineers, product, marketing, and rev ops to identify performance gaps and implement actionable solutions.

  • Plan and conduct live training sessions for EMEA and APAC teams, both remotely and in person, covering topics such as sales plays, product launches, and ad hoc requests from regional leaders.

  • Leverage the Learning Management System (LMS) to create, maintain, and organize training content for seamless accessibility and relevance.

  • Actively seek participant feedback and implement program enhancements to meet evolving needs.

  • Pursue professional development opportunities, enhance visibility with sales leadership, and contribute to team success through personal development goals aligned with organizational objectives.

Skills & Passions

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Comfortable speaking in front of large groups of people over Zoom

  • Can write learning objectives, lesson plans, and design presentations using Google Slides

  • Can adjust facilitation style to accommodate different audiences and topics

  • Collaborative and strong interpersonal relationship skills at all levels

  • Strong work ethic staying motivated and engaged in a remote work environment

  • Strong desire to be a part of a high growth company with an entrepreneurial spirit and a dynamic, results-oriented culture

Qualifications



  • 4 years sales experience OR equivalent combination of sales and training experience

  • 2 years of sales enablement or related training and coaching experience with sales teams

  • Previous experience in internet technology

  • Must be located in one of our hubs, Austin, TX or Omaha, NE, to participate in our hybrid work environment

Base Salary Range$104,000.00 - $156,000.00


We believe that compensation should be reflective of the impact you have within the organization relative to the market value of your role. The estimated base salary range for this position is as listed above. Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay. Our salary ranges are determined by job role and responsibilities and level. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for salaries for the position nationwide. The actual base pay will vary based on various factors including job-related skills and individual qualifications objectively assessed during the interview process.
