Applied Research Solutions is seeking a full-time Go Developer to support our Cloud Services team. This is a senior role on our cloud team and be responsible for the design, implementation and testing of scalable backend services that orchestrate cloud APIs.

- Design, develop, and test backend services using Go to integrate and orchestrate cloud APIs
- Set up, monitor, and run services in a cloud environment, ensuring continuous integration and deployment of code
- Lead a team of developers, providing technical guidance and ensuring high-quality deliverables
- Assist the service desk in resolving issues with the backend services
- Develop DevSecOps tools and methodologies as necessary to construct an automated and secure DevSecOps pipeline
- Develop DevSecOps monitoring and reporting capabilities to allow developers, testers and stakeholders to observe the availability and performance of the system
- Contribute to team meetings, code reviews, and architectural discussions
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications/ Technical Experience Requirements:
- Must be a US Citizen
- Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance
- 2+ years of experience developing using Go (Golang)
- 10+ years of experience developing and compiling code
- 2+ years of experience with Docker and container-based technologies
- 2+ years of experience with major cloud technologies (Azure, AWS) and their APIs
- Strong foundation in Linux and virtual machines
- Strong foundation in containers, algorithms, and software application design
- Leadership and management experience
- Excellent people and project management skills
- Strong communication skills
