The Quality Assurance Manager provides accountability and risk management perspective to clinical operations by auditing to and helping maximize compliance with laws, regulations, accreditation standards, and payor requirements. The Manager reports to the Chief Legal Officer, but works closely with assigned clinical partners.
Essential Duties:
- Conduct audits, remote and onsite, regularly or unannounced, as required by the annual compliance plan to include regulatory, accreditation, and clinical programming compliance
- Coordinate response to regulatory and payer audits and inspections and ensure all matters are appropriately tracked
- Assure that accreditation-required activities are conducted and documented, and coordinate accreditation reviews
- Conduct investigations involving clients and or/employees
- Monitor incident reports and ensure appropriate internal escalation as well as third-party notification where appropriate
- Serve as an escalation point for consumer complaints
- Communicate to Partner Leadership and CLO:
- Results of internal audits
- Effectiveness of corrective action
- Changes in regulation, accreditation, or payer standards
Eligible candidates can have a bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as business, healthcare administration, or a clinical discipline for this position when coupled with a minimum of five (5) years of clinical operations leadership experience,or;A master's degree in a relevant field such as business, healthcare administration, or a clinical discipline coupled with three (3) years of experience working in clinical operations leadership or quality management.
Salary Range
$71,218.00- $78,808.00
