Overview:


We are seeking an experienced Epicor ERP Business Analyst with Subject Matter Expert (SME)-level expertise in Epicor ERP systems. The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of Epicor's application in a manufacturing environment, with demonstrated experience throughout the full ERP lifecycle. This position plays a critical role in supporting, enhancing, and training staff on Epicor ERP, ensuring the system is aligned with the company’s business processes and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Epicor ERP Subject Matter Expertise: Leverage in-depth knowledge of Epicor ERP to provide business process expertise, technical support, and ongoing system improvements across various functional areas including finance, supply chain, production, inventory management, and more.
  • Training and Development: Develop and deliver effective Epicor ERP training for end-users across all business functions, tailoring content to different skill levels. Act as the go-to resource for questions and challenges related to system usage and best practices.
  • ERP Implementation and Project Management: Lead or participate in Epicor ERP implementation projects from scoping and planning through go-live and post-launch support. Implement best practices to optimize performance, ensure seamless integration, and enhance system efficiency.
  • Business Process Improvement: Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvements, system optimization, and the integration of best practices. Align Epicor capabilities with business needs to improve productivity, accuracy, and compliance.
  • Lifecycle Management: Manage the Epicor ERP lifecycle, from system design and implementation to upgrades, customization, and ongoing maintenance. Ensure system functionality aligns with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaboration with IT: Serve as the liaison between business units and IT, working with internal stakeholders to translate business needs into technical specifications and ensuring effective communication throughout project lifecycles.
  • Compliance and Regulatory Adherence: Ensure that all ERP-related processes and workflows comply with industry regulations and internal standards, especially within regulated industries such as aerospace, defense, or medical device manufacturing.
  • System Troubleshooting and Support: Provide advanced troubleshooting support for Epicor ERP-related issues, resolving problems promptly to minimize business disruption. Collaborate with external vendors as needed to address system-related challenges.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain comprehensive documentation of Epicor ERP processes, configurations, and changes. Develop detailed reports, dashboards, and metrics to help management monitor performance, track KPIs, and make data-driven decisions.

Qualifications:


  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master’s degree or relevant certifications (such as Epicor certifications) is a plus.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience working with Epicor ERP in a manufacturing or regulated industry environment. Proven track record in ERP system implementation, business process optimization, and end-user training.
  • Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of manufacturing processes, preferably in regulated industries (e.g., aerospace, defense, medical devices, etc.), and how these processes are managed through Epicor ERP.
  • Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Epicor ERP modules, SQL databases, and report generation tools. Experience with system integrations, customization, and scripting is highly preferred.
  • Soft Skills:
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
