ROLE:
Are you ready to bring a touch of magic to every day? As a Prop Master at Enchanted Fairies, you'll be at the heart of our enchanting world, ensuring our props sparkle and shine for our beloved studio locations.A typical day involves collaborating with the Prop Team to craft, design, and create enchanting props for our partner studio locations. The Prop Manager also supports inventory management, stocks and organizes materials, and handles the loading and unloading of packages. Additionally, responsibilities include maintaining a clean and organized workshop, ensuring everything is ready for the next creative project.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prop Creation & Repair: Channel your creativity to craft and repair mesmerizing props using hot glue, epoxy, and resin, ensuring each piece meets our magical standards.
- Inventory Management: Keep track of our enchanting inventory, handling receiving and shipping of props with precision and care.
- Storage and Preservation: Safeguard the integrity of our dresses, costumes and props by meticulously storing them, preserving their enchanting allure.
- Delivery & Logistics: Transport deliveries up and down stairs with grace, ensuring timely arrival at our headquarters.
- Physical Stamina: Embrace the magic of being on your feet throughout the day, balancing a blend of movement and meticulous work.
- Effective Communication: Collaborate seamlessly with team members and leadership, keeping everyone informed and aligned with our enchanting goals.
- Deadline Adherence: Maintain a keen eye on deadlines, ensuring all tasks are completed promptly and to perfection.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience: At least 1 year of experience in crafting, decorating, prop building, or a related field strongly preferred.
- Creativity & Organization: A creative flair combined with a meticulous, organized approach to work.
- Attention to Detail: Excellent ability to follow written and video instructions with precision.
- Urgency & Multitasking: Strong sense of urgency and capability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Understanding of Magic: Develops a deep appreciation and understanding of our enchanting experiences.
- Communication Skills: Solid communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact effectively with team members and leadership.
- Flexibility & Collaboration: Open to working collaboratively with coworkers and receptive to constructive feedback to meet company goals.
- Technical Proficiency: Comfortable using various computer programs and navigating technical tasks.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to frequently stand, walk, bend, lift, and climb ladders as part of the job.
- Pay: Depends on experience, starting pay is $16 hour.
- Schedule: Tuesday thru Saturday, 9am – 6pm CST, 1-hr lunch.
- Training Schedule: Monday thru Friday, 9am – 6pm CST.
- Location: Onsite at our headquarters in Plano, TX
