What you’ll do:
- Work both on delivering infrastructure and customer-facing features.
- Write modular, extendable, testable, efficient and secure code for the platform and microservices.
- Design and build scalable systems: robust backend services and data pipelines capable of processing and analyzing large-scale datasets efficiently.
- Optimize data workflows: work on improving the performance, reliability, and scalability of our data processing systems.
- Plan and deliver new features in the heart of our emerging platform.
- Develop a platform that will affect millions of users worldwide.
Requirements:
- At least 5+ years of proven experience developing a multi-service platform for scale.
- Strong, proven architectural and design skills.
- Independent, persistent, and a "getting things done" person.
- Experienced with complex system design
- Experienced with Python & NodeJS languages (highly experienced in one of the languages)
- Experienced in queue management based systems (such as Kafka)
- Any experience with big data / data processing tools / ETL frameworks
- Advantage - experienced in streaming technologies, such as Beam/Spark/Flink
- Advantage - experienced with web programming & web security
- Advantage - experienced with identity management
