About the role
We are currently seeking a highly self-motivated, detail-oriented Senior Accountant with a proven technical accounting background. As a Senior Accountant, you will participate in the more complex aspects of accounting operations, the general ledger, the end-to-end procure-to-pay process, the financial close, accounting policies and the related controls framework, and payroll for all global entities. Critical to success will be the ability to partner with cross-functional leaders to drive change, build efficiencies, and enable rapid growth for our organization.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting
- Minimum 4 years of related work experience (e.g., Big 4, mid-sized biotech companies)
- Active CPA license and in good standing
- A genuine curiosity directed toward problem-solving
- Demonstrated analytical and technical accounting skills (i.e., ability to think critically about the impact of accounting transactions and technical GAAP skills)
- Solid working knowledge of end-to-end Procure-to-Pay and Quote-to-Cash business processes
- Proficiency in multi-currency environments and accounting for global operations
- Proven adeptness at detailed work such as the ability to research and reconcile difficult accounts, and the portrayal of clear and concise summary-level work (i.e., ability to get “into the weeds” as needed while not losing sight of the broader picture)
- Superior written and oral communications skills, including ability to succinctly communicate complex messaging in a credible and clear manner
- Ability to self-direct work and manage time accordingly
- Experience with the NetSuite platform, including multi-entity consolidations
- Excel proficiency a must
