The Opportunity
As our Finance Director, you will play a critical role in shaping Validation Cloud’s financial strategy and ensuring operational excellence in a high-growth environment. This position involves advanced financial modeling, hands-on management of crypto assets, and leadership in impactful reporting efforts. You’ll have the unique opportunity to directly influence our financial trajectory, aligning with executive leadership to drive strategic initiatives and support our expansion.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and refine three-statement financial models to support robust financial forecasting and facilitate strategic decision-making.
- Manage cryptocurrency trading activities, oversee liquidity, and implement strategies to optimize asset use and mitigate risk.
- Partner with leadership to create and maintain operating models that guide strategic planning and ensure alignment with growth goals.
- Drive internal and external reporting processes, providing clear and accurate financial insights that support key stakeholders.
- Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes, setting targets and developing financial plans to achieve the company’s growth and operational objectives.
- Ensure financial practices comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies, especially within the cryptocurrency and blockchain industry, identifying and mitigating financial risks.
- Continuously assess and improve financial processes and systems to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and scalability as the company grows.
About You
- Extensive experience in financial leadership roles, preferably within blockchain, fintech, or high-growth industries
- Strong background in financial analysis, including three-statement financial modeling and cryptocurrency trading or similar asset management
- Proven track record in financial planning, modeling, and analysis to support strategic decision-making and company growth
- Skilled at building and refining financial models, with a detail-oriented approach and a commitment to accuracy
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex reporting initiatives, delivering clear and actionable insights to stakeholders
- Strong analytical skills, with proficiency in forecasting and reporting tools
- Excellent communication abilities, enabling you to present financial insights to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Proactive, strategic thinker comfortable in a fast-paced, evolving environment with a focus on continuous improvement
