About the role


The Account Manager role serves as a center of excellence for post-sale programs, which include newsletter sponsorships, live and virtual events, and custom programs. The Account Manager acts as a client advocate and works with internal departments to ensure that client expectations are exceeded. The ideal candidate is articulate, highly organized, resourceful, and a problem solver.

Responsibilities: 


  • Working with the Sales Team to accurately and effectively activate post-sales campaigns
  • Maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships and drive renewal through the successful management of campaigns
  • Serving as the main POC in delivering on clients' objectives and KPIs, successfully coordinating end-to-end execution and optimization of client campaigns
  • Leveraging knowledge of the client, industry, and The Information to identify solutions to overcome client challenges and encourage renewals strategically
  • Working across departments to foresee obstacles and proactively ensure the success of programs
  • Leading all client communications for post-sale execution to include details on campaign timing, assets, and contracts. 
  • Developing and presenting recommendations and POVs that drive innovation for the business

Qualifications


  • 3+ years of experience in media account management and white-glove client services
  • Strong organizational skills - ability to manage multiple, deadline-driven, projects with cross-functional groups at the same time
  • Highly detail-oriented individual
  • Basic understanding of digital media planning, performance, and ad operations
  • Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • The ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Proactive thinker who looks for ways to improve efficiency and solve challenges
  • Experience working in a startup environment is a plus
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • NY or SF based

Salary Range:  USD Annually $100,000 - $120,000 + Bonus + BenefitsThe salary range posted is based on the company's good faith belief at the time of the posting. Actual compensation may vary above or below this range based on factors such as location, work experience, and skill level.
