Role Responsibilities


The Manager, Artist Growth Marketing is responsible for leading the strategic planning, execution, and management of global marketing campaigns for a roster of artists. This role will develop long-term marketing strategies to build and grow fan engagement, foster audience development, and drive successful product releases in collaboration with A&R, Artist Management, Publicity, and other key teams. The Manager will oversee marketing touch points—digital, social, and traditional—ensuring that campaigns are aligned with both creative and commercial goals.

This role requires a strong understanding of digital marketing, promotion, and sales, with the ability to work across time zones and manage campaigns on a global scale.Prioritization will go to candidates residing in the Netherlands. Remote candidates across Germany, Belgium and France will also be considered.

What you'll do


Campaign Development and Execution:

  • Create and execute comprehensive, global marketing campaigns that encompass digital, social, influencer, advertising objectives and traditional marketing strategies for each artist and release
  • Devise and implement best in class, audience-led social media strategies, drive fan audience growth and ongoing engagement across platforms by using insights, best practices, and content trends
  • Determine and apply correct tone of voice, content and branding for each artist, using agreed artist vision brief
  • Drive marketing plans globally, working closely with international territory leads to tailor strategies for key focus markets
  • Serve as a communication liaison between artists, managers, and internal teams to ensure marketing efforts are aligned and executed seamlessly

Artist Growth Marketing:

  • Lead the development of strategies aimed at growing fan bases and enhancing audience engagement for assigned artists.
  • Devise and implement social media and digital marketing strategies to increase visibility, engagement, and fan loyalty across platforms.
  • Leverage audience insights and performance data to inform campaign adjustments and identify new opportunities for audience growth.
  • Collaborate with external partners and influencers to extend artist reach and create meaningful fan interactions.

Data Analysis and Reporting:

  • Analyze campaign performance, project milestones, and audience data, providing actionable insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Track and report on digital marketing spend, effectiveness, and overall campaign success to ensure optimization and alignment with strategic goals.
  • Provide regular updates to management and artist teams, ensuring they are informed on campaign progress and audience development outcomes.

Collaboration/Teamwork:

  • The Manager, Artist Growth Marketing will be part of a European-based team that works with Nettwerk’s international teams; the successful candidate will be positive and willing to contribute to and collaborate domestically and internationally
  • Work across multiple time zones and attend international meetings, representing artist projects and ensuring global marketing efforts are cohesive.
  • Proactively identify roadblocks and challenges in artist campaigns and collaborate with internal staff to resolve issues.

Role Requirements


  • 2-3 years + music marketing experience
  • Bachelor degree preferred
  • Passion for music and a deep understanding of pop culture and current marketing trends
  • Experience with Photoshop, HTML, and Adobe Premiere Pro a plus
  • Strong marketing strategy and development skills, with the ability to create innovative, audience-driven campaigns
  • Extensive experience with social media platforms, streaming, and audience analysis
  • Sense of urgency in response time
  • Ability to manage complex projects across time zones with strong organisation and communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and collaborative, team-oriented approach
