About this role
As the Care Operations Associate II/Senior Associate at Waymark, you will play a vital role in building a hub of operational excellence across Waymark’s rapidly growing markets. You will be responsible for centralizing communications, playbooks, and policies to drive standardization and consistency in process across markets. Reporting to the Vice President of Care Model & Quality, you will help implement robust collaboration and bi-directional feedback channels with care support departments across the organization to ensure effective alignment of core functions with care model and operational needs.
You will provide project management support to the Care Model Roadmap and other Care Model & Quality team efforts. You should be a strategic problem solver and an excellent communicator adept at achieving cross-functional alignment.
Responsibilities
- Drive standardization and consistency in process across markets by supporting the development of standardized, scalable processes, workflows, and policies to improve operations
- Own the maintenance of our central care delivery communications and knowledge hub
- Support collaboration, including bi-directional communication and timeline and roadmap alignment, between care operations and all care support functions at Waymark.
- Support the development and execution of scalable processes for obtaining and actioning on feedback from all care team members.
- Provide project management expertise to the Care Model and Quality team, with a particular focus on care model roadmap prioritization and agile sprint execution
- Partner with Waymark’s Compliance and Implementation teams to ensure full compliance with all contracts.
- Partner with Waymark’s Learning & Development team on ongoing refinement to care team training and execute biannual refresher trainings.
- Identify and fix process gaps around execution, roll-out, and ongoing support of projects
Minimum qualifications
- Highly organized, detail-oriented self-starter;
- Comfortable with ambiguity and able to multitask and create structure
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong project management skills with a track record of aligning across diverse stakeholders
- Strong operational background, preferably in a remote environment
- Systems thinker and problem solver, able to toggle between the details and big picture view with ease
- Willing to roll up sleeves and dig in to the work at hand
- 3-5 years experience in healthcare or health services operations roles with an outpatient/primary care, integrated behavioral health, and/or whole-person care focus.
- Values teamwork and collaboration
- Thrives in fast-paced environment

- Healthcare LEAN certification
- Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Jira)
Salary Range
US employees in New York City, Seattle, or the San Francisco Bay Area: $the 78,000 - $155,000 USDUS employees in Austin, Boston, Chicago, Denver, San Diego & Washington DC: $70,000 - $145,000 USDUS employees outside of the above listed US Cities: $61,000 - $135,000 USDAdditionally, compensation will depend on other factors, training, education, and experience.
Benefits and Other Compensation:
Medical, vision, dental, basic life insurance, and stock options available for the hired applicant. Employees also receive twenty (20) vacation days, accrued over the year and eleven (11) paid holidays throughout the calendar year. Sixteen (16) weeks of parental leave for birthing parents will also be available for use after successful completion of 6 months of employment, eight (8) weeks of bonding leave for non-birthing parents. Employees are able to enroll in our 401(k) plan and commuter benefits plan.
