The Role: 


Your responsibilities will span from design to implementation of a complex, time critical, microservices based system, that leverages events driven design to handle large volumes of clinical data and provide advanced interface (mobile and web) to manage clinical workflows. You will collaborate with various teams, including the AI, data and product teams, in order to deliver the best code using high end technologies.

Tech stack:


We are running on AWS and using various technologies to run our services. Our services are python based and we leverage various open source technologies to achieve scale, performance and robustness, such as rabbitMQ, Redix and Elastic. We are always open to new technologies and tools that will help us to do our job even better.

You will:


  • Be the owner of your domain to ensure code quality, performance, and our products’ scalability
  • Build our products using microservices written in Python
  • Work closely with stakeholders across the organization, including product, design, data and other teams
  • Proactively coach and mentor other developers and help them elevate their skills
  • Be the go-to person for the most difficult problems.
  • Technically mentor team members, review code and provide feedback
  • Leading software standards and best practices for teams.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders - product management, security researcher, other R&D groups in Cato and more 
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers and other developers, to develop microservices with an event-driven architecture that meets the needs of our product and customers.
  • Ownership of the entire development lifecycle, from design to production, ensuring the quality and reliability of your code and features.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment where quick iterations and short "time to market" are key, receiving real-time feedback based on clean-code principles to continuously improve and iterate on your work.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Demonstrate excellent communication skills and cross-collaboration abilities, fostering a culture of teamwork and innovation within the engineering team.

Requirements:


  • 6+ years of hands-on backend development experience.
  • Strong python experience (Bonus)
  • Experience with distributed cloud application architecture and design
  • Strong knowledge working with NoSQL and SQL databases
  • Experience with high-scale, production-grade projects
  • A team player and strong can do mentality
  • You have experience delivering mission-critical, real-world systems

Location: 


We are located in San Francisco and Tel Aviv. This position is based in Tel Aviv.Our office in Tel-Aviv is located in Menachem Begin 150, within walking distance of Arlozorov and Ha'Shalom train stations.
