We’re always looking for amazing people across every discipline to join Torq.We’re looking for a passionate Automation Developer to join our team and help ensure the reliability and quality of our hyper-automation platform.

What You Will Do:


  • Maintain and improve Torq’s automation infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines to support scale and reduce delivery times.
  • Collaborate with developers to build and enhance test plans (unit, integration, E2E) and define the QA lifecycle.
  • Develop automated UI and API tests using Playwright for the management app and microservices (Python).
  • Contribute to cross-platform and cross-browser integration test frameworks (TypeScript).
  • Design and execute performance tests using k6, focusing on scalability and reliability.

What We Are Looking For:


  • 3+ years of experience as an automation developer.
  • Expertise with UI automation frameworks (Playwright or Puppeteer) and CDP-based tools.
  • Strong Python skills for developing test automation frameworks (Pytest, unittest, etc.).
  • Familiarity with JavaScript/TypeScript-based frameworks (Jest, Mocha).
  • Proficiency in Bash/shell scripting.
  • Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Strong Advantages:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Experience with Linux, Docker, and Kubernetes (k8s).
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools and cloud deployment pipelines.
  • Knowledge of testing gRPC microservices and understanding asynchronous patterns.
