Day Porter (Cleaner)

COMPANY MISSION

POSITION SUMMARY

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Cleaning common areas: Mopping and sweeping floors in breakroom, bathrooms, showers and entryway
• Clean staff kitchenette area, including sink, counters, and windows
• Clean and sanitizing restrooms and showers
• Regularly emptying trash cans and recycling bins throughout the building 
• Launder scrubs and towels, fold and restock showers
• Reporting issues: Identifying and reporting maintenance concerns to the appropriate personnel
• Customer service: Be a great team member and support other staff members at the site wherever possible
• Inventory, order, receive and stock supplies as needed
• Other tasks as necessary

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Attention to detail and observant
• Physical stamina to perform repetitive cleaning tasks 
• Ability to work independently and follow cleaning schedules
• Pleasant and positive attitude
• Good communication skills to report issues and interact with building occupants
• Actively be a positive member of the team
WORK ENVIRONMENT
• This position operates in multiple environments including office environment, laboratory environment, and farm environment (may be required to use hazardous chemicals, cleaning fecal matter, and operating in dusty environments).
