About the role
Provide support (with a regulatory perspective) to the Regulatory Reporting Officer in activities that ensure regulatory compliance in non-financial reports, as well as assistance in presenting required information for audits and supervision by the authorities (Banxico, CNBV, Condusef) and audits in relation to reports and the validation of customer files (within routine activities), keeping the highest level of quality to comply with the regulation, audit handling and internal policies; according to Nu's principles!
What does a Regulatory Solutions analyst for Regulatory reports & demands do providing support to the Regulatory Reporting Officer …
- Collaborate in the validation of regulatory reports to ensure compliance with the applicable regulatory framework.
- Help ensure that the policies and procedures related to regulatory reports align with regulatory requirements. This involves updating internal policies and procedures as regulations change or when new products and services impacting the reports are launched.
- Keep abreast of regulatory changes and their impacts on the company’s operations and regulatory reporting obligations.
- Assist in preparing for audits by regulatory bodies, ensuring that regulatory reports are complete and accurate and that other demands related to customer files are met.
- Provide support to identify areas for improvement in reporting processes to increase efficiency.
- Understand their BU strategy and use it to prioritize their team's tasks and projects.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in law, finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field
- Quick learner and proactive
- Ability to challenge & prioritize
- Previous experience in regulatory reporting or compliance roles within the financial services industry.
- Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks, such as CUB and Banxico-CNBV-Condusef requirements, etc.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of financial products and services.
- This candidate must have good written and verbal communications skills in both English and Spanish and be willing to continue learning and loving regulations

*Interviewing and onboarding are currently done virtually. When it’s time, we will require a fixed cadence of visiting the office in which employees go to their Business Unit's (BU) base location.
