About the Role


We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented People Operations Manager to lead and optimize the operational aspects of our People function. This role bridges the gap between strategic People goals and day-to-day operational excellence by managing the employee lifecycle, maintaining compliance, and optimizing HR systems and policies. 

Key Responsibilities


Payroll, Compliance & Process


  • Collaborate with finance and external vendors to provide employee updates, resolve discrepancies and improve payroll efficiency.
  • Responsible for audits and adhering to standard operating procedures.
  • Collaborate with Security to maintain compliance.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal labor laws and company policies.
  • Monitor updates in employment laws and implement necessary changes to policies and practices.

Employee Lifecycle Management


  • Streamline processes and drive continuous improvement while ensuring a positive employee experience during onboarding, offboarding and other employee stages.
  • Assist in maintaining employee records, ensuring data privacy and confidentiality.

People Systems Management


  • Administer and maintain HR systems, ensuring accurate employee data and system integrity.
  • Identify opportunities to improve HR systems and workflows, driving digital transformation initiatives.

Compensation & Benefits


  • Oversee employee benefits programs such as health insurance, retirement plans, and other initiatives.
  • Support market salary benchmarking and analysis to maintain competitive pay structures
  • Conduct periodic benchmarking to ensure competitive compensation and benefits packages.
  • Address employee inquiries related to pay, benefits, and deductions

Experience


  • 8+ years of experience in People Operations or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll, People systems, and employment laws.
  • Proficiency in HRIS platforms and MS Office suite.
  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Experience working in a [global/multi-location] organization.
  • Proven experience in process improvement and digital People initiatives.
