Responsibilities:


  • Define and drive Solo.io’s product vision, strategy, and roadmap in alignment with company objectives and market trends.
  • Lead, mentor, and grow a team of product managers to deliver on Solo’s strategic goals.
  • Collaborate with engineering, sales, marketing, and customer success to deliver world-class products that meet market demands and delight customers.
  • Direct engagement with customers, prospects, and analysts to stay at the forefront of emerging trends, customer needs, and competitive dynamics in our industry.
  • Evaluate opportunities for strategic expansion within current, adjacent, and net new markets as part of Solo’s overall product and partnership strategy.
  • Represent the product organization in executive discussions, contributing to overall company strategy and decision-making.
  • Work hands-on with the product and engineering teams to analyze, design, define, and execute on product features and enhancements.
  • Partner with marketing and sales to craft compelling messaging, positioning, and go-to-market strategies for Solo.io’s product portfolio.

Required Experience:


  • 8+ years of product management or equivalent experience, including 3+ years in a product leadership position.
  • Demonstrated success in managing a technical product portfolio, ideally in the cloud-native and Kubernetes ecosystems.
  • Proven ability to define and execute on a compelling product vision and roadmap, with a track record of thriving in flat, highly cross-functional organizations.
  • Strong technical background, such as a degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent hands-on experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience engaging directly with enterprise customers and translating complex needs into actionable product requirements.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and adapt to a fast-moving, high-growth environment.
  • Expertise in API connectivity, service mesh, and related technologies is a strong plus.
