We are always on the lookout for new talent and crypto-curious thinkers who share our passion for the future of finance.As a Cloud Operations Engineer you'll join our Infrastructure Department and your primary focus will be designing and maintaining blockchain-based systems and working closely with dynamic team of SysOps, Developers, Architects, SecOps and other departments to continue to deliver excellence at Bitstamp.

What you'll do
- Ensure stability and availability of the Bitstamp platform.
- Provide and maintain application runtime environments.
- Develop and maintain application deployment pipelines.
- Provide and maintain logging, monitoring and alerting infrastructure.
- Provide operational and technical support for engineering teams.
- Provide regular application deploys and application environment changes.
- Join operational on-call rotation.
What you will bring
- More than 5 years of experience maintaining highly performant, low latency web services.
- Experience with Linux, Bash, Python and Git.
- Experience maintaining web servers (Apache, Nginx).
- Experience with infrastructure as code (AWS CloudFormation, Ansible playbooks).
- Experience administrating and using relational databases like MySQL and in-memory key value stores like Redis and Memcache.
- Experience with AWS and information security best practices.
- Active knowledge of English.
Nice to haves
- AWS certification.
- Operational familiarity with Atlassian products such as Jira / Bitbucket / Confluence.
- Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins / Automaton controller.

- Hybrid working/full time in Slovenia.
- Remote working/full time in Croatia.
