We're seeking an exceptional Lead Product Designer to join our team and help shape the future of our on-chain tools and products. In this role, you'll combine strategic thinking with hands-on design expertise to create innovative solutions that delight our users.
In this role, you will:
- Manage at least one other designer and lead product design across the organization
- Create designs to support cross-functional teams, both for internal and external tools and platforms
- Design beautiful, usable, and valuable product experiences for the Stellar ecosystem
- Maintain and scale our design system to improve and ensure consistency across products
- Conduct user research and usability testing to validate design decisions
- Present design work to stakeholders and incorporate feedback effectively to ensure high-quality designs
- Work closely with engineers to QA products to ensure that they are pixel perfect
- Champion user-centered design practices throughout the organization
You have:
- 7+ years of product design experience
- Strong visual UI skills and detailed design eye
- Deep experience creating and shipping extraordinary products
- Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end product design work
- Expert knowledge of modern design tools (Figma, Framer, etc.)
- Experience with design systems and component libraries
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles
- Experience conducting user research and usability testing

We offer competitive pay with a base salary range for this position of $190,000 - $230,000 depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, we offer lumen-denominated grants along with the following perks and benefits:
