Senior Engagement Manager

Location:

This is a full-time position in the United States with the ability to work from home, or from one of our U.S. based offices if local and preferred. 

Overview


The Senior Engagement Manager role serves as the primary point of contact for our clients, ensuring successful delivery of our consulting engagements while driving value and cultivating strong business relationships.  You will manage project execution, oversee cross-functional teams, and ensure alignment with client objectives and Xebia’s authority mission.

Responsibilities


Client Engagement & Relationship Management

  • Serve as the primary liaison between the client and internal teams.
  • Understand client needs and translate them into actionable plans and deliverables.
  • Build trust and maintain long-term client relationships through consistent, high-quality delivery.

Project Management & Delivery

  • Lead project planning, execution, and delivery, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define project objectives, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Monitor and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies.
  • Ensure alignment with best practices, methodologies, and quality standards.

Team Leadership & Coordination

  • Manage and mentor cross-functional consulting teams to meet project goals.
  • Foster collaboration and ensure team alignment with client and organizational objectives.
  • Promote professional development and knowledge-sharing within the team.

Financial Management & Reporting

  • Monitor and manage project budgets, forecasts, and profitability.
  • Ensure accurate and timely billing, invoicing, and financial reporting.
  • Identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling additional services.

Strategic Planning & Growth

  • Support business development efforts by identifying new opportunities within existing accounts.
  • Contribute to proposals, RFP responses, and strategic planning initiatives.
  • Provide thought leadership on emerging technology trends and their impact on client businesses.
  • Provide input and feedback to presales.

Requirements


  • Collaborative and communicative team player who can effectively work independently and with others.
  • 7+ years of experience in technology consulting
  • Strong client relationship and stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Expertise in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).
  • Financial acumen for managing budgets and profitability.
  • Familiarity with modern technology solutions, cloud services, or enterprise systems.
  • PMP, PRINCE2, or relevant technology certifications are preferred
