You will thrive at TerraClear with a positive attitude and enthusiasm.TerraClear is a fast-paced, fast growing start-up disrupting the Ag industry with rock management solutions that solve this problem in a way not previously considered or available.We are looking for a Field Service Operations Lead to orchestrate the delivery of TerraClear products and services and manage all Midwest facilities, equipment inventory maintenance and support.

deliver products and services seamlessly. 


In this role, you will:

  • Manage technical support for all field-based rock picking service providers including repairs, maintenance, and technical support.
  • Manage, maintain, and track the Midwest facility and inventory to support Service Providers, customers, and TerraClear equipment needs. 
  • Manage and track equipment maintenance records and regulatory compliance of equipment and employees
  • Stay informed about relevant industry standards and regulations. Ensure that the products and equipment comply with all applicable safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
  • Implement and maintain quality control processes to ensure equipment uptime and high-quality data collection (i.e. tracking support issues, inventory, downtime in TC systems).
  • Participate in the selection and purchasing of equipment, materials and components as needed.
  • Facilitate and conduct prototype testing and ensure the products meet design specifications and quality standards as directed by TC product and engineering teams. 
  • Collaborate with various departments, including marketing, sales, and product and engineering to ensure clear communication of needs. 

What we’re looking for:Required:

  • Agricultural domain knowledge - gained from farming or a career spent in agricultural equipment and/or technology. 
  • Mechanical equipment experience to troubleshoot and fix issues with farm equipment and TerraClear hardware. 
  • CDL required (Class A) and travel to support in-field service providers.
  • Experience pulling, driving, and using large equipment.
  • Strong analytical and technical skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to address challenges that may arise during product delivery, service delivery, or testing.
  • Demonstrated commitment to ongoing learning and staying informed about advancements in mechanical engineering, materials, and related technologies.
  • Thorough attention to detail. 
  • A deep passion for the agriculture industry and the success of the farmers and operators leading it. 
  • Ability to work independently and as a team with little direction.
  • Strong and direct communication skills that lead to action.

Desired:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical engineering or equivalent work experience. 
  • Welding certification and/or experience 
  • Familiarity and comfort discussing technology (equipment, software, automation)

TerraClear base salary pay range:


  • $75-90k USD
