Role: At Card Kingdom, our Software Development Engineers are the driving force behind our digital products, ensuring they meet the needs of both employees and customers. As a Software Developer III, you will deliver on the entire software lifecycle, from writing and monitoring code to maintaining and enhancing our systems. You will also be responsible for creating technical documentation, conducting manual and unit testing, collaborating with stakeholders, and coordinating with your team to ensure high-quality and timely software deployments. You’ll play a critical role in developing our ecommerce and operational web applications, with a focus on delivering robust, user-friendly solutions for mobile and desktop users. You will tackle complex problems with creativity and a solution driven mindset and work closely with the product team, your manager, and stakeholders to identify and implement the best solutions. This is a full-stack developer position with a front-end focus, ideal for developers passionate about creating polished, high-performing interfaces backed by solid backend functionality. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, mentor junior developers, and help shape the future of our ecommerce ecosystem. Key Responsibilities: Software Development
- Design and develop ecommerce and operational web applications that work seamlessly across different devices and platforms.
- Translate designs into clean, efficient, and responsive code using modern tools and frameworks
- Optimize applications for performance, speed, and SEO to create a frictionless user experience.
- Deliver solutions in a timely manner with a low defect rate.
- Write clean, maintainable code following team guidelines and industry best practices.
- Create unit tests for the code you write and collaborate with QA on testing, planning, and project delivery.
- Create monitors for your software to add visibility to the health of your solutions.
Technical Leadership
- Lead the development of critical projects, ensuring timely delivery and technical excellence.
- Provide technical mentorship to junior and mid-level developers.
- Review code for quality, security, and performance.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry standards.
Documentation and Communication
- Contribute to the documentation of processes, systems, and best practices.
- Work with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders clearly and effectively.
Qualifications:
- Full-stack developer with a solid knowledge of programming fundamentals and proficiency in one or more programming languages, preferably PHP (Laravel) and/or Javascript
- Proven experience in developing and managing e-commerce services, including cart, checkout, inventory, account management, and shipping/address functionalities.
- Adept in utilizing tools such as Figma, with ability to translate designs into clean, efficient code
- Proficient in using HTML for structuring web content and CSS for styling and layout
- Experienced with responsive design principals and techniques
- Skilled in optimizing web pages for speed and efficiency to improve user experience and SEO
- Strong knowledge of working with APIs to fetch and display dynamic data
- Functional knowledge of SQL and database structures
- Experience with service-oriented architectures
- Great attention to detail
- A strong desire to learn and expand your programming skills
- 5+ years of experience
Bonus Qualifications:
- Familiarity with AWS technologies.
- Strong E-commerce experience.
- Familiarity with security principles like OWASP.
- Machine Learning experience.

- Exempt/Salary: Range from $104,000 - $133,100 depending on qualifications and experience
