Position: Direct Mail Production Manager

Essential Function:
The Direct Mail Production Manager leads, mentors, trains and coaches the Mailing Department to produce quality product in a timely, efficient and cost-effective manner.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 Years in a similar managerial position with direct reports
- Knowledge of Mailing equipment (Screen is a plus) and their capabilities and uses
Key Responsibilities:
Forecasting & Scheduling:Forecast mail sales pipeline with the Scheduling and as needed, Director of Sales.Schedule complex mail projects with sensitive data.Ensure no delays in job completion.Workflow & Efficiency:Revise or create secure workflows.Identify areas for time, material, and postage savings.Advise sales leadership on improvements for better results.Document Department Procedures & Training DocumentsStrategic Participation:Engage in strategic discussions for product growth and customer acquisition.Advise on industry technology advancements.Partner with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction.Solutions Architecture:On new projects/opportunities, consult with sales and/or client to map out ideal workflows. Work with estimators, as needed, to quote for optimal efficiency and automation.General Expectations:

- Prepare accurate reports and provide feedback to management.
- Train Sales and Project Management staff in mailing procedures.
- Liaise with the Post Office.
- Implement and train on mailing processes to increase efficiency.
