About the role:


We are seeking a Business Systems Developer/Administrator with a strong foundation in NetSuite to join our team. While your immediate focus will be on NetSuite development and administration, this role offers an exciting opportunity to grow into a system/platform-agnostic expert as we rearchitect our internal business systems. This comprehensive transformation spans the entire customer lifecycle—from marketing automation and sales CRM to professional services administration (PSA) and financial/accounting systems.In this role, you will leverage your technical and functional NetSuite expertise to optimize and extend existing workflows and integrations.

Over time, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement a unified, scalable, and agile business systems architecture that supports BeyondID’s growth.

Key Responsibilities:


  • NetSuite Customization & Development: Serve as the primary developer for NetSuite customizations, including scripting, workflows, and reports.

  • Integration Management: Maintain and enhance integrations between NetSuite and other business systems using SuiteTalk, RESTlets, and other APIs.

  • Business Process Optimization: Automate key processes across multiple platforms, ensuring scalability and efficiency.

  • Cross-System Collaboration: Partner with stakeholders across marketing, sales, professional services, and finance to define system requirements and deliver solutions.

  • System Transformation: Contribute to rearchitecting BeyondID’s internal systems, ensuring alignment with business needs and future scalability.

  • Data & Analytics: Design and maintain custom reports, dashboards, and analytics to drive informed decision-making.

  • Technical Support: Provide ongoing technical support and training for NetSuite users while expanding expertise into other platforms.

  • Best Practices & Governance: Establish and enforce best practices for data integrity, change control, and system performance.

Qualifications:


NetSuite Expertise:


  • 3+ years of experience with NetSuite development, scripting, and integrations.

  • Expertise with SuiteCloud tools (SuiteBuilder, SuiteFlow, SuiteScript, SuiteTalk).

  • Familiarity with multi-entity environments.

  • Experience with OpenAir is a plus.

Broader Technical Skills:


  • Knowledge of relational databases (e.g., Postgres SQL) and API integrations.

  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.

  • Experience with Java, C#, or VB.Net preferred.

System Agility:


  • Interest or experience in working across multiple platforms (e.g., CRMs, marketing automation tools, PSA systems).

  • Proven ability to evaluate and implement new technologies to enhance business processes.

Education & Certifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Accounting, or a related field.

  • NetSuite Suite Developer Certification is preferred.

Soft Skills:


  • Technical Communication: Explaining complex technical concepts in simple terms to non-technical stakeholders.

  • Documentation: Creating and maintaining clear, concise documentation throughout the development cycle.

  • Prioritization: Balancing tasks and focusing on high-priority features or fixes.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Working effectively with Finance, Operations, Sales and Delivery teams.
