This role is pivotal in shaping our corporate marketing brand narrative, driving engagement, and ensuring our marketing initiatives resonate with our target audience. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of marketing trends and a passion for creating impactful content that aligns with business objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive content strategy aligned with overall marketing and business objectives, including blog posts, whitepapers, videos, social media & email campaigns, leveraging data and insights to optimize content performance, audience engagement, and conversion rates.
- Establish and maintain content governance, ensuring consistency, quality, and compliance with brand guidelines and industry standards.
- Develop and execute strategic marketing plans with Viral Nation Marketing, Talent and Tech aligned with company objectives to drive brand awareness, customer acquisition, retention and community engagement.
- Authoring high-quality content that establishes Viral Nation’s unique brand tone & voice and a consistent narrative across multiple digital channels (press releases, email marketing messages, case studies, presentation content/pitch decks, survey reports, blog posts, and web copy)
- Oversee the development of integrated marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital, social media, email, events, PR, and partnerships.
- Analyze market trends, customer insights, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and refine marketing strategies.
- Collaborate closely with product, sales, and other cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and maximize marketing impact.
- Push the business to adopt better content creation practices through frequent testing of new content formats and distribution channels, including championing the increased use of data visualization
- Lead a team of marketing professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and fostering a collaborative and high-performing culture.
- Work with VN Talent to create targeted marketing campaigns for owned specific product & content launches
- Continuously measure and improve content performance; create reports leveraging Google Analytics, HubSpot, and social media analytics tools
- Compile and consider data, including target audience, personas, messaging, competitive insight, customer feedback, and campaign results
- Stay on top of trends in the creator economy/ influencer marketing space and become an expert on VN’s clients.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field (Master's degree is a plus).
- 5+ years as a Marketing Manager within an influencer agency or a related industry
- Deep understanding of influencer marketing trends, best practices, and platform dynamics
- Experience in developing and executing marketing plans
- Strong leadership skills with a track record of effectively managing projects
