About The Role
At Blinkist, you'll join one of our cross-functional Mission Teams, dedicated to revolutionizing how millions of people discover and absorb insights from the world's best non-fiction books. What You Will Do
- Develop and maintain impactful features across our stack using TypeScript/JavaScript and Ruby.
- Partner closely with product and design teams to craft intuitive, user-friendly experiences.
- Write clean, scalable, and testable code that supports a growing global audience.
- Participate in code reviews, providing thoughtful feedback and shaping key technical decisions.
- Work with modern technologies like Vue.js, Node.js, and Ruby on Rails, staying at the forefront of innovation.
What You Need To Have
- 3+ years of experience in full-stack web and backend development
- Strong foundation in TypeScript/JavaScript and hands-on with modern frontend frameworks
- Proficiency in backend development; experience with Ruby is a bonus.
- A solid understanding of software design principles and testing best practices.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset.
- Proficient in English and ideally located in Berlin.
