QuickBooks Bookkeeper (Remote)


We are looking for a skilled QuickBooks Bookkeeper to manage the financial records for our client’s Airbnb properties, real estate ventures, and general contracting projects. This role is critical to ensuring accurate financial data, supporting job costing, and maintaining compliance with industry-specific accounting practices.

Responsibilities:


  • Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks for multiple Airbnb properties, real estate ventures, and general contracting projects.
  • Track and categorize expenses, income, and payments related to short-term rentals, real estate, and construction.
  • Reconcile bank statements, WIP schedules, and project cost reports to ensure accuracy in all financial reporting.
  • Generate monthly financial statements, profit and loss reports, and cash flow projections.
  • Handle invoicing, bill payments, progress billing, and accounts payable/receivable.
  • Prepare documents for construction loan draws and coordinate with tax professionals for tax filings.
  • Support the general contractor business with job costing, managing retainage, subcontractor payments, and tracking change orders.

Requirements:


  • Experience in bookkeeping for Airbnb properties, real estate, or general contracting projects.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks Online, with a solid understanding of job costing, WIP accounting, and percentage-of-completion methods.
  • Strong attention to detail, particularly in reconciling financial records and ensuring compliance with industry-specific practices.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to handle financial data across multiple business entities.
  • Familiarity with software like Sage 300 CRE or Procore is preferred.
  • Reliable, with the ability to work remotely during US business hours.
