Job Description


We are looking for a Pharmacy Operations Associate to join our Pharmacy Operations team! The Pharmacy Operations Associate will support the Director of Pharmacy Operations with the expansion and operations of our Felix Pharmacies. The Pharmacy Operations Associate will support hiring and recruitment efforts, facilitate the onboarding and training of new Felix Pharmacy staff and help develop and implement strategies that improve pharmacy efficiency and maximize output. The Pharmacy Operations Associate will be a critical member of the Felix Pharmacy Operations team as we look to vertically integrate our digital health business and build a proprietary network of pharmacies across Canada that fulfill the prescription medication needs of our patients.

This is a hybrid role and will require 2 days a week in our Mississauga pharmacy location. 

Responsibilities:


  • Work closely with our Director of Pharmacy Operations, Pharmacy Managers and professional recruitment firms to source and hire pharmacy staff including Staff Pharmacists, registered Pharmacy Technicians and Pharmacy Assistants across provincial markets 
  • Help on-board and train new Felix Pharmacy staff, educating them on the pharmacy dispensing workflows including approval, registration, fill, packaging and shipment
  • Work with Pharmacy Operations team, Engineering team and Felix Pharmacy staff to identify areas within our technology flows for improvement and automation
  • Support the Felix Pharmacy staff with the management of our formulary at each Felix Pharmacy, evaluating inventory levels, setting minimums and supporting with manufacturer backorders.
  • Manage the supply of other equipment at each Felix Pharmacy including laptops, screens and so forth and ensure that each Felix Pharmacy staff member has access to communications and administrative softwares
  • Act as a liaison between the Felix Pharmacy and Felix Health so as to ensure alignment on ultimate business goals and strategic priorities
  • Provide general administrative support to the Felix Pharmacies, including invoice management, equipment supply management, clerical work and ad-hoc tasks as required  

Requirements


  • Applicant should be based in the GTA and able to travel to Mississauga pharmacy 2 times per week.
  • 2-3 years of operations experience preferably in a high-growth DTC, B2C or SMB SaaS environment, preferably in the digital health or online pharmacy space 
  • A strong business acumen with the ability to understand and solve for operating and administrative challenges on a day-to-day basis; a basic understanding of the business and economics of pharmacy and the Canadian pharmaceutical landscape

  • Remarkable attention to detail relating to the administrative support of patient records, information and feedback gathering and analysis
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Fluency in English
