We are looking for a growth-minded and dynamic Sofware Developement Engineer in Test - Embedded Systems (SDET) who embodies our values of excellence, ownership, collaboration, and effective communication.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop test methods and procedures to transition products from design into volume manufacturing, taking ownership to ensure success.
- Design automated tests, frameworks, and fixtures for software and hardware validation contributing high-quality work to advance our mission.
- Execute regression, performance, stress, and reliability tests for Fort devices quickly and precisely.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to debug and resolve firmware and hardware issues, fostering a culture of alignment and shared success.
- Lead design reviews, ensuring testability requirements are considered early in the product lifecycle.
- Support the product engineering team in developing and maintaining R&D test environments, demonstrating resilience and adaptability to new challenges.
- Work with manufacturing partners to create robust production test processes, ensuring excellence in execution.
- Partner with program management and production teams to deliver customer solutions with clarity and confidence.
- Engage directly with customers to promote their success, which may require 10-20% travel.

Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in designing and implementing tests for complex embedded products, with a drive for continuous improvement.
- Proficiency in embedded software test automation and frameworks using Python, Bash, Numpy, and Pandas.
- Strong knowledge of hardware/software validation infrastructures (HIL/SIL).
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker), CI/CD tools, and version control.
- Skilled in developing custom hardware/software fixtures for embedded systems.
- Experienced in networking technologies (Ethernet, CAN, BLE, Wi-Fi).
- Effective communicator, able to provide clarity to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Preferred:
- Knowledge of C++, MATLAB, and requirement management tools.
- Familiarity with safety standards like IEC 61508 and ISO 26262.
