The Inside Sales Energy Advisor is responsible for managing a large volume of inbound small and medium commercial leads, guiding potential clients through the process
to deliver best-in-class energy advice. This role demands exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, independent, and client-facing environment.
What you'll be doing:
- Respond to inbound phone, email and chat inquiries, providing guidance to potential customers on electricity procurement for the business
- Present electricity purchasing options to clients in a clear, value-driven, and helpful manner
- Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to questions, inquires, and resolving issues
- Set proper expectations for deliverables, both with customers and internal teams
- Utilize internal systems to request pricing and energy usage information
- Consistently close business and achieve sales goals
- Collaborate with 5’s operations teams to quickly address customer service issues and keep clients informed of the resolution
What you'll bring:
- Ability to multitask and prioritize
- High attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must be comfortable on the phone (both inbound and outbound calls)
- Proactive in identifying opportunities to improve the systems and processes used by the business
- Personable, comfortable with giving and receiving constructive criticism and praise
- 1+ years of inside sales experience
- Previous experience in deregulated energy preferred
- Spanish speaking is a bonus
- BA or BS preferred
