About the Job


  • Analyze and track costs associated with software development projects, including labor, materials, and overhead.
  • Develop and maintain cost accounting systems to ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Collaborate with project managers and development teams to provide insights on cost efficiency and optimization.
  • Prepare and present cost analysis reports for management, highlighting trends and variances.
  • Monitor budgets and expenditures to ensure alignment with company goals.
  • Assist in pricing strategies by calculating costs for new software products and services.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing processes by reconciling cost accounts.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.

Requirements


  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • 4+ years of experience in cost accounting, preferably in a technology or software company
  • Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., LOGO)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent knowledge of cost accounting principles and financial reporting standards
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.)
  • CPA or CMA certification is a plus
  • Advanced level of English
  • Living in Izmir
