About the Job
- Analyze and track costs associated with software development projects, including labor, materials, and overhead.
- Develop and maintain cost accounting systems to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Collaborate with project managers and development teams to provide insights on cost efficiency and optimization.
- Prepare and present cost analysis reports for management, highlighting trends and variances.
- Monitor budgets and expenditures to ensure alignment with company goals.
- Assist in pricing strategies by calculating costs for new software products and services.
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes by reconciling cost accounts.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 4+ years of experience in cost accounting, preferably in a technology or software company
- Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., LOGO)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Excellent knowledge of cost accounting principles and financial reporting standards
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.)
- CPA or CMA certification is a plus
- Advanced level of English
- Living in Izmir
