About The Job
- Keep accurate records of incoming and outgoing payments to the organization
- Look for and provide solutions for accounting irregularities
- Manage client accounts and payment schedules
- Maintain and operate the accounting system and software with LOGO
- Carry out reconciliations with relevant parties
- Carry out month-end closing activities
- Follow up and prepare daily bank transactions
- Prepare documentation and do filing
- Ensure accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly, and yearly tax returns and follow all tax related deadlines and regulations
- Control expenses according to company policies and detailed fixed cost analysis
- Run monthly inter-company reconciliation
- Check the accuracy, integrity, completeness, and consistency of financial reporting
- Ensure compliance with statutory and company requirements
- Accompany statutory and audits
- Follow up on legal matters and relations with internal and external legal attorneys and consultants
Requirement
- Master's degree in accounting, finance, business, or related fields preferred
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience is required
- Proven planning and organizing skills and the ability to maintain precise records
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting
- Current familiarity with common accounting platforms including Logo, Xero, or Quickbooks
- Knowledge of productivity tools, including Word, Excel, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent command of English both written and spoken
- Experience in US and UK accounting practices is preferred
