POSITION SUMMARY:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Inventory and Receiving Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have basic computer and Excel skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. This role is crucial in managing inventory accuracy, optimizing storage, and ensuring compliance with safety standards.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Inventory Management: Count and update inventory on hand to maintain accurate stock levels.- Receiving Shipments: Check, verify, and sign off on all incoming shipments to ensure they meet quality and quantity standards.- Labeling: Utilize printers to create and print labels for inventory items as needed.- Cycle Counts: Conduct daily cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy and report discrepancies.- Light Lifting: Perform some light lifting as required to manage inventory and assist in receiving processes.- Storage Optimization: Assist in optimizing storage solutions for efficient stock management.- Data Entry: Accurately enter data related to inventory levels, shipments, and stock management into the system.- Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all team members.-Team Collaboration: Work closely with team members to support inventory needs and contribute to overall operational efficiency.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Basic computer skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in counting and recording inventory.
- Ability to perform light lifting tasks (up to 25 lbs).
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Prior experience in inventory management or a similar role is a plus.
