Growth Operations Manager 100%(Europe based)The Web3 Foundation nurtures and stewards technologies and applications for the decentralized web. We collaborate with cutting-edge developer teams, researchers, and community leaders to strengthen and extend the uses of decentralized technologies; building the future of identity, privacy, financial markets, commerce, and more.Our core project is Polkadot, a protocol designed to connect blockchains and allow them to interoperate, share security, and more.
In addition, we are supporting the development of several technologies that form the Web 3.0 tech stack, such as proof of personhood, decentralized messaging, distributed storage, and secret management.Growth Operations ManagerThe core of fulfilling our mission is building seamless operational frameworks that empower the Web3 ecosystem to thrive. By designing and implementing systems for engagement, we enable investors, projects, and ecosystem participants to collaborate effectively and drive impact. As a Growth Operations Manager, your work will focus on creating scalable solutions, such as a digital engagement platform, CRM systems, and standardized processes, that enhance the foundation’s operations and ecosystem-wide collaboration.
This role will provide support on tasks large and small across multiple parts of the organization. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Investor Relations and Success, to ensure that operations align with strategic goals, fostering the growth and success of the Polkadot ecosystem. This role can be remote, with a preference for candidates based in Europe.ResponsibilitiesBusiness Community Processes:
- Develop and document standardized processes to enhance business and community engagement.
- Establish protocols to manage interactions, track engagement, and measure outcomes across the ecosystem.
- Collaborate with the Support Team to design project management workflows for ecosystem projects.
- Create templates, tools, and processes for tracking, reporting, and performance measurement.
Digital Platform Management :
- Lead the creation of a digital engagement platform to connect investors with ecosystem projects.
- Collaborate with the Investor Relations Manager to design and manage a matchmaking feature for connecting investors and projects.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for platform-related issues, liaising with internal and external development teams.
CRM System Implementation :
- Identify, configure, and manage a CRM system to centralize business and investor contacts.
- Train team members on CRM best practices, ensuring data integrity and system functionality.
- Monitor and optimize CRM usage to support communication, relationship tracking, and strategic planning.
Requirements
- Project Planning & Tracking: Ability to create timelines, track deliverables, and manage deadlines for platform development and CRM implementation.
- Workflow Documentation: Experience creating process guides, templates, or SOPs to ensure consistency across teams.
- Task Prioritization & Multitasking: Skilled in managing multiple concurrent projects, prioritizing tasks effectively.
- Process Mapping: Ability to design and document clear workflows, SOPs, and checklists for business engagement and investor relations.
- Detail Orientation: Strong attention to detail in creating repeatable, efficient processes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English to convey instructions and updates effectively.
- Collaborative Teamwork: Proven ability to work across departments, such as Success and Investor Relations, to coordinate initiatives.
- Stakeholder Management: Basic experience managing stakeholder relationships, gathering feedback, and refining processes.
- Basic Data Analysis: Ability to review engagement data, CRM usage, or project KPIs and make recommendations for improvements.
- Strong organizational skills

- Strong understanding of the Web3 ecosystem, Polkadot technology, and blockchain industry trends.
- Familiarity with capital markets.
