About the RoleAs part of its mandate, the Web3 Foundation provides technical support to Polkadot users through a comprehensive list of articles and by responding to users’ requests.This role’s purpose is to expand the Support team tasked with this responsibility and to provide best-in-class support to users’ technical questions or issues. Responsibilities
- Managing user support inquiries, through the Support portal and on social media platforms, consolidating consistent responses and expediting response times for these support requests
- Resolving technical user issues by understanding the inquiry and selecting the best solution for the user’s problem; following up to ensure resolution.
- Creating and maintaining articles on the Polkadot Support page
- Working closely with teams within and outside Web3 Foundation to provide first class support to users and ensure the resolution of their issues.
Requirements
- Familiarity with the Polkadot ecosystem
- Technical understanding of blockchain transactions, decentralized networks and protocols
- Strong problem-solving skills and customer-focused approach
- Practical experience of working with the crypto / decentralized technology space, and open source, privacy-minded communities
- Ability to multitask, prioritize and manage time effectively
- Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken)
- Strong interest in the Web 3.0 movement, blockchain and other decentralized technologies
A Plus
- Computer science or similar background
- Experience with Freshdesk and/or other similar ticketing systems
- Some programming experience
- Excellent communication skills (written and spoken) in other languages
