Your Role at impact.com:


We are looking for a data-driven and strategic Demand Generation Marketing Manager to lead our paid media efforts in the APJ region (particularly Australia and Southeast Asia) to drive customer acquisition and revenue growth for impact.com. This is a critical role where you'll own the strategy, execution, optimization, budget, and reporting of paid media campaigns—primarily focusing on Paid Search (Google) and Paid Social (LinkedIn). You will play an essential role in scaling our marketing programs, enhancing lead generation, and improving ROI across the region.

Working closely with both the APJ regional marketing team and the global Demand Generation team, you will help ensure alignment with our growth objectives and contribute to building a best-in-class demand generation engine. This role reports into the RVP of Marketing, APJ who is based in Sydney.

What You'll Do:


Key responsibilities:

  • Paid Media Strategy & Execution: Own the paid search and paid social strategy across Google Ads and LinkedIn to drive lead generation, conversions, and pipeline growth.
  • Budget & Campaign Management: Oversee budget allocation, pacing, and spend to ensure campaigns meet KPIs and maximize ROI.
  • Campaign Optimization: Continuously optimize ad copy, design, targeting, and account management for paid media channels to improve performance and efficiency.
  • Creative Collaboration: Work closely with the design team to create engaging and high-performing ad creatives that resonate with our target audience.
  • Advanced Targeting: Leverage advanced targeting techniques (interest-based, demographic, behavioral) to drive lead generation and awareness across APJ.
  • Performance Analysis & Reporting: Build and maintain comprehensive performance dashboards, report on key metrics (CPC, CPA, ROAS, CPL), and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
  • Full-Funnel Optimization: Collaborate with regional marketing teams and sales teams (MDRs/AEs) to understand and optimize the full-funnel sales cycle, ensuring high-quality leads are passed to sales.
  • Innovative Growth Strategies: Identify and test new channels, tactics, and innovative strategies to drive further growth.
  • Optimise towards agreed upon campaign KPIs and ultimately meet marketing attributed pipeline and revenue goals ($7 ROAS)
  • Adhere to campaign launch calendars and timelines
  • Budget and channel ownership 
  • Regular reporting on performance to key stakeholders both regionally and globally

What You Have:


  • 5+ years of paid media/digital marketing experience, especially in paid search and paid social
  • B2B marketing experience, ideally at a SaaS company with a regional remit across APAC 
  • Experience with campaign optimization and spend to remain in budget
  • Strong collaboration and project management experience
  • Strong communicator who can efficiently communicate learnings and insights to drive improvements
  • Deep expertise with optimising to ROAS
  • Experience tracking and reporting on campaign performance
  • Strong critical thinking and analytical skills
  • Advanced analytical and data visualisation skills (Google Analytics, Google Data Studio, Looker Studio, Excel, Google sheets, etc.)
  • Bonus points: partnerships, affiliate or influencer marketing experience across Australia and Southeast Asia
