The InfoSec Information Security Analyst manages, plans, and assesses the organization’s third-party risk management program and delivers value-added third-party risk management metrics to diverse organizational audiences. Drives and/or participate in risk and information security control implementation projects, which may include operational, regulatory, or compliance components, providing subject matter expertise for information security control implementation to the organization.
As a Information Security Analyst, a Typical Day Might Include the Following:
Manage, plan and assess the organization’s Third-Party Security (TSP) program and deliver value-added third-party risk management metrics to diverse organizational audiences.Collaborate with organizational units to communicate program goals, identify and remediate program issues, provide guidance and direction, and integrate TSP processes into organizational processes to enhance program maturity and efficiency. Demonstrated ability to direct cross-functional teams to implement and enforce the TSP.Manage program metrics in combination with business unit insights to identify and address third party security risks.Plans, leads, manages, and executes risk-based assessments of information security controls, working collaboratively with management to identify and mitigate top risks.Assist with internal and external audits associated with regulatory and compliance requirements.Review and recommend improvements in the information security processes.Create, manage, and respond to security incidents and conduct analysis in accordance with existing processes and company security policies.This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive, and employees will also perform other reasonable related business duties as assigned by immediate supervisor and other management as required.This organization reserves the right to revise or change job duties as the need arises. To Land This Gig You'll Need:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
- 2+ years assessing and providing implementation guidance for an organization’s third-party risk management program and delivering value-added third-party risk management metrics to diverse organizational audiences.
- 2+ years experience working in and/or managing Information Security Governance, Risk, and Compliance functions.
- 1+ years experience providing oversight and management of the Third-Party Security Program (TSP) including the management of contractor staff and vendors, achievement of program milestones, and management of the TSP budget.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated experience translating complex, technical topics into simple, understandable terms.
Bonus Experience:
- Holder of COMPTIA Security+, CISA, CISSP, SSCP CCSK or related certification
- Knowledge of GDPR, PCI, SOC2 , FedRAMP, IRAP and HIPAA compliance regulations.
- Progressive IT and security program management experience and use of agile delivery methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.
