So, what’s the role all about?
As a specialist software engineer, you're entrusted with a pivotal role in the development process, leveraging your extensive experience and technical prowess to drive the creation of complex software solutions. Looking for detail-oriented Java software engineer to continue the evolution of our big data framework for speech and text analytics. Our team provides bedrock functionality for most of Nexidia's products, so be prepared to learn your way around a large, mature codebase.

Have you got what it takes?
- Degree in Computer Science, Industrial/Electronic Engineering
- 8+ years of software development experience in Core Java and data structures.
- Strong knowledge of OOAD and Design patterns
- Contributions to a major open source project
- Experience with Elasticsearch and RabbitMQ
- Experience with asynchronous programming, Gradle, Derby, Jersey, Jetty, Spring Boot, RabbitMQ, JMX, WiX, MSI
- Good SQL Skills and experience in development against RDBMS
- Experience in automated tests writing (e.g. Junit)
You will have an advantage if you also have:
Familiarity and/or experience with public cloud infrastructures and technologies such as Amazon Web Services (AWS)Knowledge of Microservices and/or Cloud-Native Development
