VetsEZ is seeking a Lead Test Manager to join a remote team supporting the Department of Veterans Affairs. The ideal candidate will lead the testing lifecycle for software solutions, ensuring high-quality deliverables by managing testing strategies, processes, and a team of testers.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee end-to-end testing, including planning, execution, and reporting.
- Develop and implement strategies for functional, regression, performance, security, and user acceptance testing.
- Create and maintain test plans, cases, and scripts aligned with project goals.
- Lead and mentor a team of testers, providing guidance and feedback.
- Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to resolve issues and ensure on-time delivery.
- Track and manage defects using tools like Jira, ensuring resolution before release.
- Implement automated testing frameworks to improve efficiency.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in rules engine development, including 2+ years in a leadership role.
- Expertise in software testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.
- Proficiency with automated tools (e.g., Selenium, TestNG), performance tools (e.g., JMeter), and test management tools (e.g., TestRail).
- Familiarity with Agile/DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Additional Qualifications:
- Experience in SAFe/Agile Software Development.
- Familiarity with VA environment is a plus.
- Ability to obtain a government clearance.
- Azure Certified Cloud Practitioner or any related certification.
- Ability to work in a multi-stakeholder DevSecOps setting.
