Paid Media/Affiliate Marketing Manager

Position Overview:

Classmates.com is seeking a data-driven Paid Media/Affiliate Marketing Manager to lead the strategy and execution of our paid media and affiliate marketing initiatives. This role will report to the Vice President of Marketing and will be instrumental in driving Total Paid Subscribers (TPS), optimizing Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC), and increasing Customer Lifetime Value (LTV). The ideal candidate has a strong background in performance marketing, with a proven ability to manage and scale campaigns across various paid channels and affiliate networks.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Paid Media Strategy & Execution:
    • Develop and implement paid media strategies across key channels, including Google Ads, Facebook/Meta, Instagram, YouTube, and programmatic platforms.
    • Continuously monitor and optimize campaigns to improve key performance metrics such as CAC, ROI, and conversion rates.
    • Test and iterate on ad creatives, targeting strategies, and bidding models to maximize campaign performance.

  • Affiliate Marketing Program Management:
    • Build and manage a robust affiliate marketing program, including recruiting new partners and optimizing existing relationships.
    • Negotiate terms and commission structures to drive high-quality traffic and conversions.
    • Ensure compliance with brand guidelines and maintain strong partner relationships.

  • Cross-Channel Collaboration:
    • Collaborate with the Omnichannel Marketing Manager to ensure consistent messaging and cohesive campaigns across all channels.
    • Work closely with the Email Manager and Social Media Manager to align on retargeting and remarketing efforts.

  • Budget Management & Optimization:
    • Manage the paid media and affiliate marketing budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to maximize ROI.
    • Provide accurate forecasting and reporting on spend, performance, and growth opportunities.

  • Analytics & Reporting:
    • Implement robust tracking and attribution models to measure the effectiveness of paid media and affiliate campaigns.
    • Deliver regular performance reports and insights to the VP of Marketing and executive team.
    • Use data-driven insights to continuously refine strategies and tactics.

  • Innovation & Growth:
    • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, new platforms, and best practices in paid media and affiliate marketing.
    • Identify and test emerging advertising opportunities to drive incremental growth.

    Qualifications:


    • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
    • 5+ years of experience in performance marketing, with a focus on paid media and affiliate marketing.
    • Proven track record of managing large budgets and delivering measurable results in a subscription-based or SaaS business.
    • Strong analytical skills, with expertise in campaign tracking, attribution, and optimization.
    • Proficiency in digital advertising platforms (Google Ads, Meta Business Suite, etc.) and affiliate management tools.
    • Experience working in a private equity-backed company is a plus.
    • Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.

    Salary Range:


    • Min: $126,100
    • Mid: $145,600
    • Max: $169,100

    The pay range reflects the salary amount the Company reasonably expects to pay for the position. It is not a guarantee of actual compensation or a specific payment amount to any candidate.
