Job Description:


We are seeking a highly skilled Platforms Director to oversee our Enterprise Shared Platforms. This role is critical in ensuring the reliability, ease of use, and high-quality service delivery of our platforms to the development community. The Platforms Director will manage cross-functional teams and Technical Program Managers (TPMs), and will be responsible for managing the infrastructure budget and driving R&D initiatives.Scope of Platforms:

  • Enterprise CI/CD
  • Observability based on ELK stack
  • Data Streaming Platform on Kafka
  • Enterprise Cross-Cloud Kubernetes Capability on GKE
  • Enterprise In-Memory Databases based on Redis

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the development, deployment, and maintenance of enterprise shared platforms.
  • Ensure the reliability and ease of use of all platforms.
  • Manage cross-functional teams and TPMs to deliver high-quality services.
  • Develop and manage the infrastructure budget.
  • Drive research and development efforts to innovate and improve platform capabilities.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.
  • Implement best practices for platform management and operations.
  • Monitor platform performance and implement improvements as necessary.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Proven experience in a similar position overseeing enterprise platforms.
  • Strong technical background with a deep understanding of solutions architecture and Cloud Technoligies.
  • Extensive experience in project, program, budget, and people management.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 10 years of experience in platform management or a related role.
  • Experience with CI/CD, ELK stack, Kafka, GKE, and Redis.
  • Strong understanding of cross-cloud Kubernetes capabilities.

Annual Pay Range:152,500 - 200,000 USD
