Tricon Energy Arabia is seeking a dedicated and experienced accounting professional to join its Riyadh team. Our greatest asset has been, and will always be, our people! We are looking for a motivated individual to fill the full-time position of Accountant. In this role, you will oversee financial operations and accounting functions at our Riyadh office while also providing regional accounting support. As the Accountant, you will serve as the primary point of contact for all financial matters in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA).
Your responsibilities will include managing accounting records, ensuring compliance with company policies and governmental financial regulations, preparing financial statements, conducting reconciliations, and managing payables and receivables. - Vouching/ entering Bank receipt and payment in accounting system
- Proactive follow-up with Operations / Treasury for unidentified AP / AR’s
- Preparation of bank reconciliation
- Vouching/ entering Accounts Payable invoices related to Product cost and secondary cost in accounting system
- Follow-up with operations in case of any queries while vouching the invoices
- Reviewing employees expense reports and vouching the same.
- Other month end activities and reconciliation
- Maintain accurate data in ERP system as per company policy.
- Look for ways to improve processes and maximize performance
- Coordinated with various departments internally to understand financial, credit, and compliance requirements related to individuals.
- Self-motivator with entrepreneurial aspirations, and ability to make decisions quickly and multitask
Qualifications & ExperienceThis role will interface with senior management, accounting and internal/external customers/suppliers. Strong interpersonal and communication skills as well as the ability to work in a team are required. In addition, the ideal candidate would have the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in economics/ accounting or related business field or equivalent working experiences
- Good knowledge of the English language
- Min 3 years' professional experience in accounting
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Experience working with an ERP system (such as JD Edwards, SAP etc.)
- Experience with KSA accounting rules
- Great communication skills and ease at working across different cultures and different levels of an organization
- Able to work well as a team, make decisions quickly and handle multiple tasks
