Biotechnology Research Technician


Guild BioSciences is a growing biotech company developing biologically oriented products for dynamic high-impact applications. We are seeking Research Technician candidates with strong research capabilities to assist senior scientists in the development of new biologically inspired products and on-going research projects.Education/Experience: The candidate must have a B.S. or M.S. in biology, biomedical engineering, biochemistry, microbiology, molecular biology, or chemistry, and have prior experience working in a research laboratory setting.Requirements:

  • B.S. or M.S. in biomedical engineering, biochemistry, microbiology, molecular biology, or chemistry
  • A general working knowledge of microbial or mammalian cell techniques, including microbial culture and aseptic technique
  • Ability to maintain accurate and thorough research notebook and records
  • Ability to write and follow Standard Operating Procedures
  • Must be responsible, highly motivated and willing to learn
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • US Person, as defined by the United States Department of State, Directorate of Defense Trade Controls

Valuable experience but not required:

  • Biotech industry laboratory
  • Bacteriology, virology, enzymology, and/or protein science
  • Fermentation
  • Mammalian cell culture
