About the Claims Specialist, Bodily Injury role
The Claims Specialist – Bodily Injury is responsible for the investigation, evaluation and resolution of claims involving bodily injuries. We’re building a technology-first and data-driven claims experience to enhance member experience while eliminating traditional claims inefficiencies. The ideal candidate should not be afraid to roll their sleeves up to ensure we’re achieving the industry's best outcomes all while making sure we’re delivering on our promise to our members.While eliminating traditional claims inefficiencies.

Key Responsibilities
- Investigate, evaluate, and resolve personal auto claims nationwide.
- Execute on claims strategies to achieve claims quality, customer service and operational objectives
- Draft coverage letters to insureds.
- Keep detailed documentation of claims inventory.
- Serve as a mentor to less-experienced claims professionals.
- Handle an inventory of both unrepresented bodily injury claims.
- Handle claims with a high complexity of coverage analysis, investigation, damage assessment, and other relevant technical areas.
- Support the strategy and operations of Branch claims.
- Obtain and maintain necessary adjusters licenses.
- Other duties as assigned.
Skills Knowledge and Expertise
- Relevant injury claim handling experience Personal lines experience.
- Broad knowledge of claims process in multiple jurisdictions.
- Proficient using the Microsoft Office suite of programs with an emphasis on Word and Excel.
- Ability to travel when needed
- Four-year college degree or equivalent experience.
- Insurance designation (AIC, SCLA, CPCU, etc.) is a plus.
- Creative, out-of-the-box thinker who refuses to accept the status quo.
- Ability to “Call the Play” with imperfect information.
- Ability to work remotely.
- Licensed claims adjuster with multi-state experience
