Description


The System Administrator will play a critical role in supporting IT operations at our Pune location while contributing to the global management and monitoring of IT systems. This individual will provide hands-on IT support to the India Development Centre (IDC) staff and collaborate with the US-based IT team on infrastructure monitoring and global IT initiatives. The position involves ensuring the availability, security, and reliability of IT services in alignment with corporate policies and standards.

Requirements


  • Act as the primary point of contact for IT support at the IDC, assisting end-users with hardware and software issues.
  • Perform account provisioning and deprovisioning, manage access permissions, and enforce security best practices.
  • Monitor global IT infrastructure alerts, perform initial troubleshooting, and escalate as needed.
  • Install, configure, and maintain hardware, software, and peripherals for the IDC.
  • Administer and troubleshoot M365, including Intune/MDM, and assist with other corporate IT systems.
  • Collaborate with the US IT team to manage Azure and AWS resources, ensuring uptime and performance.
  • Conduct basic networking tasks such as troubleshooting and maintaining local network systems.
  • Document incidents, resolutions, and updates in the knowledge base.
  • Provide after-hours IT support to align with global operations and ensure business continuity.
  • Support IT-related projects and rollouts at the IDC.

Required Skills & Qualification


  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3+ years of experience in system administration or an IT support role.
  • Strong expertise in managing M365, Intune/MDM, and network systems.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure and AWS; familiarity with GCP is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Windows and macOS operating systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Strong understanding of IT security practices and infrastructure monitoring tools.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
