About You
We are looking for a driven and enthusiastic Digital Content Specialist who will support our digital content team with a variety of tasks to help increase brand awareness, drive customer engagement, and support our growth initiatives. The ideal candidate should have a passion for marketing, an understanding of design principles, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. This role is ideal for someone who is looking to further their career in marketing while utilizing their design knowledge and gaining hands-on experience in merchandising.
What you'll do and how you'll have an impact
- Assist in the development and execution of merchandising campaigns to drive brand awareness, lead generation, and customer retention.
- Support the creation of ecommerce landing pages with a focus on UI/UX best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (including design and development teams) to create and optimize content and marketing materials.
- Analyze and report on the performance of marketing campaigns and provide insights to improve future initiatives.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and best practices in the industry.
- Support content management for the AppDirect Catalog.
- Assist with tracking, reporting, and analyzing marketing data using tools like Google Analytics, Google Sheets, UserPilot and Datadog.
- Assist with administrative and ad-hoc tasks as required, such as managing merchandising calendars, organizing meetings, and handling external and internal stakeholder queries.
What we’re looking for
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field. A background in UI/UX or design studies is highly desirable.
- 1-2 years of experience in marketing, preferably with exposure to digital marketing or design-focused projects.
- Strong English language writing skills.
- Familiarity with UI/UX principles and design thinking.
- Basic knowledge of Google Sheets and Excel for data management and reporting.
- Ability to create and edit content for product profiles, including graphics and basic design work.
- Basic understanding of digital marketing and merchandising strategies.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Creative and innovative mindset with a passion for learning new trends and marketing techniques.
- Exposure to or experience with marketing automation tools (Mailchimp, HubSpot, etc.).
- Basic knowledge of graphic design tools (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.) is a plus.
