Core One is seeking a Network Security Engineer to join our growing Technical Solutions team. As a Network Security Engineer, you will be leading network solutions development and implementation.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee implementation of secure communications networking solutions.
- Work with SOC engineers and analysts to tailor threat monitoring.
- Work with Software Development team to develop custom solutions as needed.
- Manage development requirements, schedules and deliverables.
- Must be a self-starter with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Support the day-to-day operation, installation, configuration, and administration of networking environments and provide routing and switching troubleshooting and support.
MinimumRequirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or additional 5+ years' relevant experience in lieu of education.
- 5+ years’ relevant networking engineering experience including development and delivery of secure networking solutions.
- In-depth experience with network design, VPNs, cryptographic key management, routers, switches, IDS/IPS, and network monitoring.
- Experience using cloud providers to implement networking solutions (e.g. AWS or Azure).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- US Citizenship is required for this position
Desired Skills:
- Experience with computer network defense and related cybersecurity practices.
