Core One is seeking a Senior Network Security Engineer to join our growing Technical Solutions team. As a Senior Network Security Engineer, you will be leading network solutions development and all related threat monitoring. You will be designing and protecting network solutions used by our customers.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee design and implementation of secure communications networking solutions.
- Oversee cybersecurity and threat monitoring for our customer deliverables.
- Manage network engineers and security operations center (SOC) personnel.
- Stay current with all security advisories and best practices that may impact our solutions.
- Work with SOC engineers to design and implement robust SOC systems and practices.
- Work with Software Development team to develop custom solutions as needed.
- Manage engineering team leads and demonstrate leadership of people and projects.
- Manage development requirements, schedules and deliverables.
- Engage customer end-users during development life cycle.
Minimum
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or additional 5+ years' relevant experience in lieu of education.
- 5+ years’ relevant engineering experience including overseeing development and delivery of solutions.
- Expert level understanding of architecture development, governance, and design principles.
- Experience with secure communications systems (VPNs) and SOC operations.
- Excellent team management and leadership skills and experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- US Citizenship is required for this position
- Eligibility to obtain and maintain U.S. security clearances at the TS/SCI level or above.
