Specific Duties
This position will provide the Spectrum System Administration services including but not limited to:
- Provide support to the Windows Server 2016/2019, Oracle 19g, SQL Server 2017, and GOTS Application and Database.
- Provide day-to-day system administration to keep the system operational, functioning as designed, and compliant with cybersecurity accreditation requirements. This also includes
- All aspects of IT operation and maintenance for the software to include corrective actions that may be required to overcome issues that are caused by an operating system patch, COTS/GOTS patch, or code update.
- Responsible for coordinating backups prior to performing an upgrade of any type and subsequent restoration prior to finding a corrective solution as directed.
- Maintain assets and will work with DISA and other contractors to troubleshoot, identify and remediate these issues.
- Responsible for coordinating backup prior to any operating system patch, COTS product patch, or other software update and subsequent restoration.
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Knowledge of SATCOM/Spectrum 21 a plus
Required Skills
- Knowledge of the principles, methods, and techniques used in systems administration and support.
- Demonstrated experience with upgrading systems, software migrations, and resolving help desk tickets.
- Experience configuring servers.
- Strong experience deploying in an Agile Environment.
- Lead staff members in the operations and maintenance task area.
